Some are starting to grumble about the price, in USD, of POLYCUB.  They seem to think that because the price is falling, it is somehow indicative of the project.  To me, this is nowhere near the case.

Markets do what markets do.  As I say all the time, markets do not reflect value nor do I use them to affirm my decisions.

To be perfectly honest, I am glad the price is dropping in USD terms.  Over the last couple weeks, I am slowly add more from outside so the fact the USD price is allowing me to get the same xPOLYCUB even though the amount of POLYCUB required for each one is increasing.

As the old saying goes, buy when there is blood in the street.  I just wish I had more capital to throw at it but, alas, trying to improve many positions at one time.

So are you worried about the price of POLYCUB and the fact it is dropping.  If so, always go back to the basics.

### Deflationary Currency

POLYCUB is a deflationary currency.  While this will not serve the world well as the standard that everyone uses, it is ideal in the circumstances for what it is designed.  Polycub was created to have a deflationary token while also simultaneously building demand pressure.  This is done through the protocol that is, over time, going to get larger.

We saw a couple of articles this week by the Leofinance team announcing additional ways that fees will be generated.  There is the Bonding which is going through its final testing.  That will be released any day now.

After that, we will get one of the most exciting features added to the platform: lending i.e. collateralizing xPOLYCUB.  I do not believe people realize how big this is.  Quite frankly, if done properly, this could be the path to $100 million Cub ecosystem.  When value that is locked away is released and put to use, it instantly increases the TVL.  If that value is directed at other aspects of the ecosystem, we see things moving up exponentially.

In short, we are getting to the point where the different projects are going to be leverage each other.  Anyone who listened to the more recent AMA gained some insight into some of what is taking place.

### Emission Are Going Down

The pricing is dropping like a rock.  Each day, in USD terms, POLYCUB is lower than it was the day before.  At present, we have a 3 token emission per block.

It appears the market things that is too much.  There is still obviously a lot of sell pressure.  Perhaps things would be different if there was not as much POLYCUB being spit out.

Fortunately, in the next 48 hours, we will see this emission drop by 33%.  We will go from 3 to 2.  That is seriously reducing the supply that is hitting the market.  There is also the potential for bonding to hit about the same time.  Hence we could see reduced emissions with a lot of money being fed into the protocol via the bonding.

Of course, if the 33% reduction is not enough, in 9 days, we will see another 50% haircut.  At that time, we are going from 2 to 1.  In those words, we will see 2/3 less POLYCUB per block in 9 days as compared to now.  

The point is that there will come a time when the market simply cannot handle the lack of POLYCUB being doled it.  This means that the demand, wherever it comes from, will simply push things higher.  Simply math says this is so.

Another simply point is I am not the only buying POLYCUB on a daily basis.  A number of people are doing the same thing.  There will come a point, if the price drops enough, that the daily buying picks up a lot more POLYCUB.  Let it drop to a penny, I will still be buying.

### POLYCUB Locked

Then we have this tidbit.

Here is a snapshot of the most recent POLYCUB distribution.

We see 4.1 million.  Estimates are we are going to see about 7.2 million before the pace is so slow it has little impact.  That said, here is the important figure.

What this means is that 64.37% of all the POLYCUB is already staked in the xPOLYCUB contract.  Remember what Khal says, this is something that always goes up.  More POLYCUB will be fed in to the HODlers.

Each has to make his or own decision.  However, when you believe in something, it is important to get a strong position.  There is nothing worse than being right in a situation like this and only having a small stake in it.  The Polycub project is evolving to offer those who are serious some really strong returns.  This means, to me, having a position where I can move closer to life changing money.

The fact that the amount of POLYCUB being emitted is reducing and a great percentage is being locked in the xPOLYCUB contract tells me it is only a matter of time before the buying pressure starts to impact the USD price of POLYCUB.  This might happen tomorrow or it might take a month. 

Either way, I am going to keep buying on the way down and adding to my xPOLYCUB holdings.
