# Sunrise 

As you may have noticed from some of my recent posts I have been taking plenty of early morning walks along the Harbor Walk here in New Bedford, for a couple of reasons;
Firstly  I haven't been walking as much as I used to over the last few months and have put on some weight so trying to get out early and get some steps in and be back home before my wife Lulu gets up to try and get my weight under control.
and secondly
I find morning walks by the water both good exercise and very calming and with mother nature you never know what your going to catch, here are a few shots from one of my morning walks

often with sunrises you get the best colors before the sun rises over the horizon with nice color sin the clouds if they are in the right spot, this wasn't one of those mornings with thick clouds on the horizon blocking the sun, but on this morning the thicker clouds made for some nice shots after the sun had risen

This next shot I did tweak quite a bit to what I thought I remembered seeing, but i may have over done it with the color of the water, but that said I do love this photo

I love when the sun gives a nice line of color on the water

And a last shot of the sun behind this feature in the water, in the top of that pole is what I think is an Osprey Nest, I have seen one of them diving for and catching fish, but as of yet I haven't caught a shot of that.
