Hey! A 28 Day Coding Streak on GitHub [Happy Dance]

Well, I am pleased to say that I have contributed *something* to [GitHub](https://github.com/tdreid) every day for about a month. True, that's nothing Earth shattering. But for me personally it's sort of an occasion.

I've been a coder for more than a decade, but only occasionally pitched into open source projects in the past.

Something about #utopian-io seems to have changed my point of view. Maybe it was timing, the perfect incentive at precisely the right moment. Maybe it's how the crypotocurrency space feels similar to my years on the early web.

Back then things were changing. We didn't know exactly how everything was going to shake out. But it was hitting fast and it was hitting hard and we ***knew*** after a while the world would be a more awesome place. Bit by bit 😉.

I think that's all happening again. [Eric Elliott has written](https://blog.po.et/ive-joined-po-et-as-vp-of-engineering-here-s-why-69c742123401) that:

> Over the course of the next 10 years, half of the current Fortune 500 will be replaced. The half that survive will be the ones that learn the lessons of the first wave of internet disruption. In the mid 90’s, the business world discovered the internet. For the next 10 years, there were two kinds of companies: dot coms, and the traditional business world...And today, there are two kinds of companies: crypto/blockchain companies, and the rest. Over the course of the next 10–15 years, a new kind of shake out will disrupt every industry.

In this familiar atmosphere coding excites me again in a way that it hasn't in a while. I'm psyched to go to work in the morning. And I'm psyched to get home, recharge and dive back in to my hobby coding.

So, thanks everyone I've met in the Utopian zone of influnce for helping me rediscover my inspiration. I could call out folks like @elear @knowledges @mkt @andrejcibik @howo @amosbastian — but really it's dangerous to name a few because there are so many great people involved that put up with my questions as well as my occasionally offbeat answers 😉.

And to those aspiring and experienced open source contributors that have not joined in yet I hope you will give it a try. I've found it to be incredibly rewarding.

#### In closing here are a few of my other recent contributions:
If you find these projects useful or interesting, ( or just are willing to boost my morale even further 😈 ) I appreciate a quick review or repo star as appropriate.

##### Thanks, again!
