good morning internet steemian gang, how the devil are you this morning?
I’m feeling pretty great, and I think @dayleeo is too and had a good birthday weekend start yesterday, today is her actual birthday, turning from the twenties into the thirties, kinda a big deal for a woman I’d think — I remember 21th and 25th being big birthdays to me.

I’m currently writing this while the end games is in full swing, it’s been brilliant to be able to catch some highlights of winter games over the last few weeks, it’s important to gorge on the games when they come along, each and every big games, every four years is always a must watch for me.

The amount of effort and focus these people have to be the top of their sport, to put in all that training, maybe putting strain on a relationship too while you are super focused on achieving medals for you and your country to be the best that you can be at that sport takes a real humanity and determination.

my daughter not only now swims a few times a week but she’s always in training with her mum who skulls and does doubles and quads racing boats, it makes me happy knowing she is healthy.

we had a great day with Bella on friday, we went swimming, had some dinner all together and just made a really good day of it. just knowing my daughter is fed, healthy and loved means the world to me and even thou our time each week feels short I’m glad that it’s been constant over the years, every weekend and more when she has holidays.

So then, yesterday afternoon once Bella was picked up we went on a mission to get the bus, then another bus to derby, then we had awesome noodles, then grabbed another bus to Nottingham to the cat cafe where they turned us away because ‘we had not booked’ — kinda sucked.

To get back on track thou we headed for beer at the malt cross and then after that had a five guys burger for the bus back to derby, once we got to derby we pretty much jumped on the ‘universe bus’ which although took forty minutes compared to the non stop x38 (20 mins) meant that we chilled out and chatted on the way back into the nearby town.

Once there it was a mission to get bits and pieces from the supermarket so we had supplies and drinks for today. afterwards we headed to a lovely pub for many beers and chats with random people and we did a mini wander from bar to bar getting back pretty early — all in all, I fab weekend.

And now I’m here, 11am at the computer, closing ceremony of the olympics in full flight, first coffee of the day lined up and I’m ready to get some video ideas scripted for this week, I feel this week is gonna be a big one — we have three days to crush to make some of the objectives for this month, I’m so gonna push for them before we fall into march mid week.

Can you believe we are nearly into the third month of the year? Doesn’t time just sprint passed, you have to put in the work to make these minutes, days and months work for you, putting in all your focus and might in realising some of your life’s potential, after all that’s what we are here for.
