General Motor's Electric Network Vehicle, or EN-V, is a concept vehicle built in conjunction with Segway Inc. The vehicle can be driven or run autonomously with the payload capacity of two passengers. The EN-V can detect and avoid obstacles park itself and navigate to you when called upon. It accomplishes this by using sensors on the vehicle as well as vehicle-to-vehicle communication. When EN-Vs are close to one another they can talk to each other through the network and agree on a certain task. Say, on the most efficient route to take.

However, don't expect to see an EN-V on the highway. The two wheel electric vehicle is powered by two motors, one on each wheel, and has a maximum speed of 25 mph with a distance of 25 miles. Where you will be seeing these vehicles is in megacities that are highly populated like New York or London. Also, electric prolusion in these megacities will greatly improve the air quality - thinking of you Beijing.

So EN-V's plan is to just reduce the size of your vehicle to 2 tires and 2 passengers, which will allow more of the same vehicles to fit into a smaller physical space. By using vehicle-to-infrastructure communication provided by OnStar, consumers will be able to call an autonomous EN-V through an app and relax while your vehicle navigates for you.
