The tire's materials consist of natural rubber, bamboo, paper, tin cans, wood, and plastic, which is all biodegradable and recyclable. Once the tire has run out of tread, no need to worry, this tread gets replenished from a 3D printer! You can even select tread tailored to the conditions you'll be driving in, whether that’s sand, mud, or snow. Unfortunately, Terry Getty's, Michelin's head of R&D, believes it will be at least 10 years before this prototype is available on the market.
▶️ DTube
▶️ IPFS
