Hello everyone!  I hope you're having a fantastic Wednesday.  Just a few more days and weekend will be upon us again.  Doesn't time really fly?

I haven't checked Litecoin prices in a while, so I thought today would be perfect to post an analysis of the latest Litecoin price action.  The daily LTC/BTC chart is shown below:

Though it may seem that Litecoin's price has stalled in recent weeks after the delay of LitePay, I've drawn a parallel channel that still indicates, at least for the time being, that from a long term perspective, Litecoin is still on an uptrend.  There is a bit of weakness in recent weeks as we can see from the green downtrend line, so traders need to stay on their toes in the next few days on how price would progress from here.

Breaking this down into support and resistance levels:
- Immediate level of support will be the 0.018 level, which has been successfully defended a number of times.  In addition, the long term uptrend channel currently has this level as the lower end of its channel. 

   We are now at a point where price is close to this level again so we are at a crucial level once again.  If we break below this, then all signs will point to further weakness, perhaps even down to the 0.014 level.  On the other hand, if this level is well defended again, then the long-term uptrend will remain intact.

- Resistance level remains at the 0.023 level.  For the long term uptrend to continue, prices need to convincingly break above this level.  If this happens, it would form a higher-high/higher-low scenario, which would be a strong case for the uptrend to continue.  On the other hand, another stall at the 0.023 level could indicate that we may be moving into a range between 0.018 and 0.023.


**LITECOIN NEWS**

The one significant news that we should note over the past 24 hours is that Gemini has agreed to add Litecoin to its trading platform.  This should be huge for Litecoin moving forward.
