Our Cherry Picking Brains!

_It's no secret that we all have a problem with that and those who say that they don't, well you either have the right mentality or you are shit talking, putting up a pretend on things._

_It certainly is very easy to spot though, but let me dive into this first and before I dive too deep I just want to put it out there that I am no exception. I still procrastinate as much as everyone else and I am also struggling to stay on the mindset of positivity. So yeah feel free to attack me back if you wish!_

_Try to read it through and of-course any feedback is welcomed, whether you agree or disagree feel free to share your opinion._

## _It Can Go Many Ways._

The topic of mindset and positivity can really lead down a lot of different roads, leading to different subjects and topics. I'm not entirely sure down which path mine will lead but let's just jump into it.

-----

**_Making The Change._**

Now that's the difficult part, it really is. Especially depending on what you're struggling with, to me personally it's much easier to quit a _Gambling Addiction_ than a _Alcohol Addiction_. Equally as destructive for your life, but I think in a sense of alcohol being consumed through the body and that tends to have a greater effect on your psyche or mental stability than that of a _Gambling Addiction._ _Although I might be wrong, after all this is just my opinion._

_Don't stick to much to alcohol and gambling they are just used as examples._

Okay so we already know it's hard making a change and more than often you don't even know that you're busy making mistakes until it's too late. What I did and still try to do and focus on is changing my behavior towards something where I know I am busy making a mistake, especially when you know it's a mistake but you still want to do it anyways. Just stop take a breath and forget about it.

_Remember, your mind is the most powerfull tool at your disposal, use it and control it. Don't let it use you and control you! Condition it right, that's even harder than knowing when you're making mistakes!_

> It's very difficult!

## _It's Not Just An Old Saying._

I'm sure most of you have heard that changing your life starts with making your bed. I'm also sure most of you will argue that it has no affect on your success in life whatsoever. I might agree or I might disagree, I might see the point you're trying to argue but it doesn't mean it's true or that I have to agree with you.

_Making your bed in order to achieve a life of success has nothing to do with you making your bed and has everything to do with testing how consistent and dedicated you can be. Try this out yourself, see how far you get before you don't make your bed anymore._

**_Okay, But What Does It Boil Down To?_**

_Hmmm, caption this._

_If you can't successfully make your bed everyday, (mind you it would take less than two minutes) How are you going to run that dream company of yours successfully or even manage the million dollars you wish you had everyday of your life?_

_Okay I might not be making the best examples here but if you can't stay consistent enough to make your bed how are you going to be consistent in anything else in life if you can't even accomplish such a mediocre task?_

_It's the truth though right? Much like saving 10 dollars a day, geez that ain't much at all right? Imagine doing so for forty years and having the compounding stack up like crazy? Just imagine you started doing that even earlier! Imagine you were more consistent at an earlier stage of life! Imagine what could have been achieved!_

## _Cherry Picking Brains!_

_Now once you've decided that you want your life changed. (We have a saying in my country and it goes like this ("Jy moet al die armsaalige mense uit jou lewe uitsny") This means that you should cut out all the miserable people out of your life. (I do think miserable might not be the exact word to use but more or less the same, those people that no matter how bright the light shines they just can't seem to see it!)_

You have to do this because you will still be so vulnerable to negative shit in your life and once you've made the change, _The Change_ this time, the real one. Then you've got to think it, see it, believe it, speak it, breath it, you have to eat it! Anything and everything about it has to be you, you have to be that! Otherwise who are you fooling? Yourself?

We are the way we are because of how we condition our brains, if you feel that people are out to get you those moments will be highlighted in your brain and whenever you think about your past in anyway, those highlighted moments will pop up and your brain will sort of assure it self that what it thinks, is actually the way it really is but it's not even close to that!

Instead of negativity and all that, try to start thinking positively, tell yourself that today I will achieve something and tomorrow and the days after those and so on. Then those achievements or learning curves will start to be highlighted in your brain and when you think back on the past they will pop up instead of all those negative shit people throw at you!

_All of the above won't be achieved within a day or a month or even years. Consistency is the key, as long as you've got it in you to be consistent you've got it in you to be great! Greater than you ever thought possible!_
