# Random thoughts 

The sounds of my childhood fill the air
The vibrations soothing like a rocking chair 
Daily, nightly on a schedule
Going here and going there 
The vibrations of the wheels on the track 
Reminds me of my childhood 
Laying in bed, rocked to sleep by the sounds of the trains traveling through the night. 

For some that might be annoying
But for me it reminds me of childhood. 
Not so close that it rocks your house
But close enough you can feel that vibration
I grew up living about a block away from the train tracks 
Our new home is about a block away from the train tracks.

I been sleeping better since we have been in our new home. 
The vibrations of the trains have rocked me to sleep. 
It is comforting, I had no clue I missed that sound. 
The sound of my childhood, when innocence was still abound. 
When the stresses of life didn't keep you up at night. 

And the best thing is, there are no dogs barking all night long. 
Even though we have neighbors with dogs. They like us, have their dogs indoors at night
So the only noise I hear is an occasional car and the scheduled freight trains. 
They come around the same time every day on schedule. 
Rocking me to sleep at night. 
I think my brain is going to like the extra sleep I am going to get.
