When I joined Steemit last year, Dtube was my platform of preferred choice because it's kind of easier creating video content, the upvotes from Dtubes encouraged me to keep creating content on the platform. 

This year though i realized I wasn't getting the upvote's as I used to from Dtube and it was quite demoralizing at first lol. I joined the the Dtube discord community and I got to realize that the number of users on the platform had increased tremendously and Dtube had a relatively small team so they really couldn't meet up.

On the group someone voiced out my concerns on Dtube not upvoting his posts and though i was glad he spoke up lol I also realized that having a sense of entitlement wasn't the best attitude. Dtube doesn't have to upvote my post and I don't have to upload my content on Dtube. Uploading content here is a choice so is being on Steemit.

Some one might get a 1SBD upvote and say "oh its so little" compared to "a'' or "b". What you fail to realize is that little drops of water actually makes a mighty ocean. Consistency is what   makes any endeavor meaningful.

So dear friends as we build our tribes, followings on this beautiful platform, lets keep our priorities straight and continuously seek to add value.

I would love to give a shout out to @iamdayosamuel   @careersbyfunmi @tolusedove for taking up the challenge to use Dtube.
