Many people have thought that 2024 will see a huge rise in the amount of AI crypto currencies and that they will lead the cahrge in the bull run.

One coin that was created this year has surged over 60% percent since Sunday.

Whilst it might not be the 10x or 100x that the degens are looking for, it certainly does bring in some quick profits when traded correctly.

### The coin in question is XAI 

The game coin XAI was launched this year and named after Elon Musk’s xAI start-up. I am sure you have heard of Grok the xAIs chatbot version and competitor to the standards.

So xAI is in the artificial intelligence industry and on Sunday alone kicked in with an astonishing rise of 49%. 

### XAI Stats
Xai (XAI) launched on January 2024 and is a layer-3 blockchain developed for AAA gaming.

XAI is going to be using Arbitrum Technology with the intention to simplify user experience and integrate blockchain seamlessly into games. 

It is managed by the Xai Foundation and Offchain Labs.

It is also meant to facilitate easy ownership and trading of in-game items thus promoting a decentralized, transparent gaming ecosystem. 

Sounds familiar (yes this what we have on Hive, except ours is fast and free!).

Orivium is developing a Real-Time Strategy game using XAI technology to enhance gaming experiences with lower gas fees, stable gameplay, simplified blockchain interaction, and seamless wallet integration. 

This alleged initiative represents a significant step forward in blockchain gaming.

### Reason for Surge

So we already discovered that:
- XAI was created by Xai Foundation and Offchain Labs on the basis of Arbitrum.
-  XAI is a layer-2 blockchain created for AAA gaming. 
- The primary goal for XAI is to lead the way for blockchain technology into games. 
- XAI will help users to acquire, own and trade various in-game items, turning the gaming ecosystem into a decentralized and a completely transparent one. 

Again all standard stuff and available here in Hive, but ....

## The main reason for the astonishing price surge of XAI

well if you believe the tweet from Bybit depicted above
is the fact that Orivium start-up has created and launched a same-name play-to-earn game on the Arbitrum chain.

Orivium is a blockchain-enhanced real-time strategy game, and yes it will be powered by XAI technology.

With all this crypto hype and price surging from products we have, where is Hive going wrong?

### Price Surge

Since Sunday, the XAI coin has skyrocketed by 60% overall and is now exchanging hands at $1.03 on the Binance exchange. It did hit an all time high of $1.17 earlier in the day but as slipped back down a little.

The maximum supply of this coin equals 2.5 billion XAI.

3% of that supply  was allocated to be given away as awards on Binance during the launch on Jan. 4.

Being in the UK that was not open to me as yes you guessed it, those blooing Draconian UK crypto regs!

### Elon Musk's xAI

The man like him or loathe him has the midas touch. So from a business and financial perspective it is often good advice to keep tabs on what he is upto!

We know him as the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, and then of course he bought Twitter and changed it to X. Now instead of tweets we have posts.

Well in November 2023 in order to compete with OpenAI and its AI chatbot, ChatGPT Musk launched his xAI start-up.

Not long after the launch, xAI released its own chatbot, called Grok.

I am a Premium member on X and do not have access to Grok as it was integrated on the X social media platform for Premium+ subscribers.

Musk decided to go for a new company after he poured heavy criticism on OpenAI for creating “woke” ChatGPT.

If you are on X you will know he does like to push the boundaries and more or less all topics should be discussed.

The ChatGPT chat bot avoids discussing certain sensitive topics with users. 

Musk stated that this was a major drawback and was his reason for  launching his own AI chat bot.

Grok was released pretty fast so if you ask me he was doing this all along.

That is the problem with these multi billionaires they can do what they want and come up with any alleged excuse!
