Hi, black-and-white photography lovers. On this occasion, I will post a turtledove to participate in the #monomad challenge.  

The photos I share here were taken using my favorite camera: Nikon D5500 with AF-S Nikkor 55-300 mm 1:4.5-5.6 G ED lens. 

Turtledove is one of the common birds found in my area. They usually perch in trees, on the roofs of houses, and on power lines. I am sharing photos of a turtledove perched on a power line.

The turtledove looks relaxed, perched under the hot sun. Occasionally, its eyes dart around. Perhaps this bird was trying to be aware of any threats. Moreover, it knew when I pointed the lens at it. Or it was looking for food. Knees usually eat grains.

Turtledove has a soft and thin voice. Generally, for bird lovers, turtledoves are one of their favorites. There are many types of turtledoves that they keep. Every year, bird lovers will compete in songbird competitions.
