<div class=text-justify> <div class=pull-right> </div> <h3>Income...</h3> Income, that magic stuff that enables us to buy stuff! Income... something that we all wish we had more! Income something that enslaves us to the 1%! We live in a very materialistic society where everyone is trying to flex their own money at each other for no reason! I see people buying expensive cars just to make their own neighbors envy them! I see people buying expensive houses just to make their own neighbors envy them! And all this for what? <div class=pull-left> </div> Buying stuff, wasting money away, trying to get more, buying stuff, wasting money away, trying to get more... it's all a cycle! A cycle that enslaves us to the banks and to the big enterprises! We are slaves to the big enterprises of the world! And you know what their best tool at enslaving us is? School! Or at least the way we are formatted to see school! <h4>Why do people go to school?</h4> <div class=pull-right> </div> People go to school to learn stuff? No! Most people go to school to get a good job that makes them a good amount of cash! A job that is basically trading their life for money! Schools are what the big enterprises use to create workers, slaves! Workers that trade their life for money only to retire at the age of 60-70 and live the rest of their days paying medical bills! Schools don't teach us the good stuff! The stuff that the 1% know! Those secrets are mostly only passed inside their own families! But some of those secrets get out! And today I'll tell you something that the 1% know but isn't taught to the other 99%! Income! <div class=pull-left> </div> The 1% have a different way of generating income! And I'll tell you all about it! I'll even tell you how STEEM comes in all of this! But first... let's discuss the different types of income! Income just like us isn't all created the same way! There are different types of income! Today let's talk about the main 4 kinds of income! * <b>Linear income</b> <div class=pull-right> </div> Linear income is the income that most people generate! It's the income that is taught to us in school! It's the income that our parents teach us to get because they are also getting it! Linear income is trading our life for money! Let's say you work 40 hours, you get paid 40 hours! Let's say you work at a fast food chain and your salary is... 7 bucks an hour! That's what your life is worth, each hour of your life is worth to the big corporations 7 bucks! They are literally putting a price tag on someone's life! Disgusting if you ask me... * <b>Leveraged income</b> Now we are getting to the good stuff! Leveraged income isn't taught at school! And if for some reason you start talking about leveraged income people call you lazy! Leveraged income is working once and getting paid for months, sometimes years without putting any more work in! <div class=pull-left> </div> Writing a book! When you write a book and put it up online that book will sell for months, years! And each time the book is sold you get a paycheck back! Without doing any work! The same thing for creating an online course, song or inventing something! There are people that live off of the money they generate from selling songs that they created back in the 90s, 80s, 70s! And they don't have to put any more work in! <div class=pull-right> </div> Having a franchise or company can also be leveraged income! Once you automate that company to the max, you can put in 4 or 6 hours of work a week and get massive returns for months! Just look at Shopify! You create a store and once the business is off the ground it will survive just by word of mouth and some adds! * <b>Passive income</b> Passive income! The line between passive income and leveraged income is sometimes very blurry! Sometimes passive income can be considered a myth! Let me tell you why! <div class=pull-left> </div> Passive income is supposed to be money that gets into your account without you doing anything! Just sitting on your ass and that's it! Like dividend stocks, like renting a house, etc... but is this even doable? Let's go with dividend stocks! If you put money into a dividend stock you need to at least check it once every couple of years to see the progress the company is doing! Maybe they are going downhill and they will take your money with them! Maybe the whole market crashes and you need to remove your money or you will lose it! So, you still need to put some work in! <div class=pull-right> </div> Let's go with renting a house! Yes, rent will create passive income! But you as a landlord will have to fix all the stuff inside the house and pay for it! Maybe the house is in need of some painting! You will need to get a couple of guys or girls and get them to paint the house! It's your responsibility! So, you still need to put some work in! Passive income to me is a myth, you will always, sooner or later have to put some work in or you might lose all your money... but, just for the sake of it, let's describe passive income as the income you invest in and get returns for years, decades, without worrying about what is happening! Even in the renting a house example you can get a guy to be the house's landlord, and you will only check it once every decade! <div class=pull-left> </div> * <b>Windfall income</b> Windfall income! The income that you generate from appreciation! Appreciation of stocks! Appreciation of houses! etc... Now let's take a knee and do an exercise... grab a piece of paper and write down all your income and put it into these categories that I just told you about... <i>Go on, I can wait</i> Now, check the paper... what do you see? <div class=pull-right> </div> If you are part of the masses most of your income will come from linear income! You are selling your life away to buy materialistic things! Do you know what being part of the masses means? It means you are one more slave in this factory that we call capitalism! Not only are you buying the products but you are also the one creating the products! You create and consume! A vicious enslaving cycle! <div class=pull-left> </div> But wait... maybe you are not part of the masses! Maybe you know the things that the 1% knows! Do you know what it is? Most of your income comes from passive and leveraged sources! This the thing that the 1% don't tell us! To get to their level you need to stop trading your life for money! Most of your income should and MUST come from passive and leveraged sources! Yes, you will always need to put some linear work in so that those sources don't crash and die out... but this is the way it works! And the more linear work you put in, the more your passive and leveraged incomes grow! <div class=pull-right> </div> Now, where does STEEM come in all of this? Steem has all types of income, in my opinion! Linear income in steem is generated by creating a post or commenting! You put some work in and you get rewarded, in the form of upvotes, for that time! Linear income! Leveraged income on steem is generated through networking, you invest some time into knowing people and, not only will you get a couple of good friends, you also get a loyal followers base that likes to read your content! <div class=pull-left> </div> Passive income on steem comes from the inflation, curation, and leasing! Just by having SP you get an inflation on your SP! You can get to a point where you can live off of your inflation SP! At the moment the inflation is 8-9%, steem is at 1,5$, a normal person can live a normal life on 1000 bucks in most countries, doing some math, by having 88.888 STEEM you get enough each month to live, just from inflation! I hope my math is right, haven't done much math lately... <div class=pull-right> </div> You can also automate your curation through a service like steemauto, or sell and lease your votes to a service like minnowbooster! By doing this, not only will you get the inflation, but you will also get STEEM back! And you won't have to do any work! Windfall income! Oh yes, this is where all the "to the moon" "when lambo" people will get a raging hard-on! The crypto market is something new! Is something progressive! And is here to stay! <div class=pull-left> </div> I think STEEM is highly undervalued, maybe it won't be 1500 bucks like I see some people saying, but it'll for sure rise in price with all the other cryptos! It's a project under construction! And, depending on the community, STEEM can survive the crash and burn that is going to happen sooner or later to most of the cryptos! Since STEEM is highly undervalued, in my opinion, it means that we also get some income from the appreciation of STEEM! That also means that our linear, leveraged and passive income will rise with this appreciation!
