Before I digress, I want to use this medium to say a very big thank you to @anomadsoul, @theycallmedan, @blocktrades, @ocdb, @gems, @c0ff33a and others who have been keeping the hive Blockchain engaging, fun and running. I was running through the #hive blockchain when I came across this wonderful goal challenge contest which is hosted by @anomadsoul. Truth be told, this seems to be one of the best challenge so far that I have seen on the #hive blockchain. The reason I said this is because this goal challenge will go far into affecting the life of various individuals who partake in it positively. By saying partaking in it, I mean those who set up their goal and at same time got the goal they set up achieved before the quarantine curfew elapses.

I will like to suggest something to @anomadsoul and if he does accept, it will be a very good achievement as so many lives during this process will be affected positively. Now this is it, sir, after this quarantine period, I want you to re-host this show and asked those who partake in it to published their achievement on their set goal. If 90% of those who saw this task carried it out, it will be a good goal achieved instead of sitting at home during this quarantine period and doing nothing at the end of it. You will see that at the end of this quarantine period, some could have gotten a good skill, while some could go into business and some will go into that project they want to embark on just like me. At the end of this goal challenge, #sir you will see that you have helped to touch the live of some individual positively. We all know that after this quarantine, jobs will be lost as companies, economy etc will be affected. But for those, who put their goals down, work towards it, they might noticed another progress in life positively.

While other are indoors because of the holiday given to them through this #Covid 19 pandemic issue, mine is still the old #raggae and #blues. I wasn't given holiday as all things are still same for me. The reason I wasn't given the holiday was because am a Fire Safety officer. Since my duty is to save lives, properties and at same time render humanitarian and other services to those in need of it, we were asked to go to work while other government workers can stay off work till the #pandemic #covid-19 curfew is being lifted. Well, is my job and I am helping through my field at this trying time. Going to work at this stage can't stop me from drawing out my goal in life. In fact, let me use this opportunity to sound it loud, every human in life without a goal is dead. That person can't offer anything.
Make sure you write out your goals always, don't wait to be reminded to do so, is your goal and not mine. Just like as I said above, I always jot down my goal and same time work towards it. So if I may ask, #What is your goal @tfame3865. This is what brought me into this matter.

The goal am about to drop is an old goal, but still yet, I haven't gotten it achieved, the progress has been slow because of the poor state of #crytocurrency, especially the one am holding. For that case, I have been working on other means to get it achieved. And this year, I have visited the goal again as I am now dedicated and determined to get it achieved. Now the goal has been set to be achieved in the #month of #April #2020. I just wished there is no rain for the time being so I can start it.
My current goal is to start the construction on the piece of land I purchased during the bull run that happened in the year #2017. How I wished it lasted, I could have completed the set goal before 2018 runs out, God knows the best.

<div class=phishy>Little story on what happened in the year 2017 when I purchased the land</div>
After buying the land, I was trying to developed it when some thugs came out and say it is their property, this shit happens in Nigeria all the time. To cut the long story short, I told the seller to give me another land, I have to pay another huge fee, then park my blocks to the new site. Assuming, that didn't happen, I could have used the money I use to pay for the other piece of land plus the expenses I made carrying blocks, clearing the new site etc to developed the said piece of land. After paying all those up, cryptocurrency like #bitcoin dropped badly in price and that affected all alt coin. This affected my set goal for that year. The second and even the third year we haven't seen the bull run, we still struggling. I put that aside, set a new goal which am looking to achieve by the month of April 2020. I pray God help me get it achieved, it has not been a easy ride.

The first thing I did is that I met with the engineer who is in charge of the building, I asked him to give me the cost that will help me build the land from scratch to #DPC level, which is also called the #foundation level. I want to start the building gradually, I don't have big amount to carry it to the last level at all. Crypto is still struggling, so I am affected badly, but I have to build something on that land now, so as to fence the mind of those thieves from selling it to another person. My Engineer says it will cost me like $2500 to get it to the #DPC level. I accept the price and jot the amount and things we need to buy for the construction.
After I know his price, I started buying the things he says he will need. Cement, Granite and Sand was bought by me already. The rest is the workers to work on the said land on that particular day and also other tools like mixing machine which will be needed.
After knowing his price and buying some of the things needed, I paid a laborer to clear the site for me which he has done. From the above, you all can see that, I first of all meet my engineer, ask him how much I will need in total to construct the building to #DPC level, then I started buying some of the items, and laborer cleared it. You can see how I am taking it one step at a time.

<div class=phishy>What is current issue affecting me</div>
The covid 19 curfew has been an issue affecting me badly. It is hard to see people working. So we awaiting to take our shot if we all are asked to come out from indoor after the 14 days stay at home elapse.
Another things that affected me is the rain falling, it has flooded the said land, so I have to wait to see the water dry off with the aid of the sun then get to work. I just hope it is really dry after the curfew. Lastly the issue affecting me is fund. I am being affected with fund badly, but when I remember my #set #goal, I keep that behind me as I keep fighting togething this goal achieved.

I have said to myself, from today to the end of the #Month of #April #2020, I will be achieving this set goal.

<div class=phishy>How will this quarantine period contribute to your goal?</div>
This is such a good question. My plan was to start the building during ending of the month of Match 2020, but the stay at home covid 19 curfew killed the dream. A lot of workers are indoor and again, I have not gotten the $2500 completely. This quarrantine period will now give me the opportunity to source for the money through my power down on #steem blockchain or through other means. So immediately we are back from the covid 19 curfew, I would have gotten the money ready and my goal will be completed.
With all this being said, this is a good challenge that will help to see individuals while at home achieving their goal through out this covid 19 curfew. After this period of curfew you will see that some would have achieved their goal. With that, you should get on board, set your goal and go after it. Use your stay in door wisely, learn a trade, start a business, build your project, just do something and later come and testify through the #hive community.

# From the above it can deduce that my goal date started from #December #30th #2017 and it halted. Then #March #1st, #2020, I started the goal again. The #progress that I have made is that I was able to meet with my #Engineer, ask him for the money I need to spend to construct the building to foundation level, which he die. This triggers the movement as I started working towards getting the money ready. #Talking about the #achievement, I have #purchased the #sand, #granite and #cement needed and again, #granite and #Sand has been taken to the site already.
