It's been a while since I've posted anything in music. I decided to return with a #ThreeTuneTuesday. This week I selected 3 songs that I'm learning on guitar.

The first of course will be CCR, because you know, The Dood loves CCR. I've been learning Bad Moon Rising. I've always loved this song and it's fairly easy to play.

The next one is literally a simple song! 🤣 Originally performed by Lynyrd Skynyrd. I decided to go with a more modern version. This is Shinedown - Simple Man. I'm currently learning the Skynyrd version but Shinedown does a great job on this one!

For my final selection I chose a Johnny Cash/Trent Reznor song. Hurt, originally performed by Nine Inch Nails. I'm learning the Johnny Cash version of this track. I've always liked this song and I think Johnny Cash really did this one justice.

Many people always prefer the originals of their favorite songs. I love when artists take an old song and make them their own with their own style of playing. Johnny Cash definitely did that with Hurt. He took a Goth/Industrial piece and turned it into something resembling country. Just wow. Although, I really love the NIN version as well. 

Anyway, I'm learning these three now on guitar. I've got Siimple Man and Bad Moon Rising pretty much figured out, I'm still working on Hurt.
