My oh my, this has been a day full of ups and downs! The original topic for today has been tough to pull together, so I think I will give y'all an introduction (a bit late, admittedly) to my life. I am Kristy. My age hasn't budged from 25 in a few years if you ask me, but people insist on using math against me when they meet my twenty-year old son. I live in a rural western Colorado city known for bicycle riding and fruit. Perfection may not be totally possible in life, but I have found the closest thing there is to it in my bright and beautiful family. My husband Nubz, our sons Flipper and Roo, and a bunch of fuzzy snugglers with pointy ears and whiskers. Flipper, Nubz, and Roo. They are all so very super! Hazel Grace, our stunning corgi-german-shepherd-husky-boxer pup. She is a feisty little lady with the muscles of She Hulk. We tend to collect kitties. I love to travel, collecting precious memories and sweet moments across the globe. This photo from a recent visit to Rhode Island captures the excitement of new experiences perfectly. Nubz likes to say he married a bunch of wives. Health junk took my hair a few times, so I enjoy a variety of wigs and hats. I change up my look so often that my good friends don't always recognize me right away, but it's something I truly enjoy. I embrace change. Life is rough when I get bored, so I love to shake it up! You'll find me with yarn all around, or out hiking in my beautiful back yard (the Colorado National Monument or Grand Mesa) when I am not relaxing on my patio. We play a lot of games as a family here! I am really into reading, personal development, music, and art. At my church I sing and help out on the media team. Following Jesus is a passion I will never get tired of. Finally, I love what I do. Nubz and I met at a coffee bar while he was presenting a business plan. I bought into the business, and then we joined in a more permanent merger. We develop leaders and promote an incredible platform. We partner with retailers and organize events. We speak at seminars together and travel the world. We have met so many awesome people in our travels. I wouldn't give up any of it. Life is good because God is good. We are so blessed. Next blog is going to be full of wedding photos! Keep an eye out. Thanks for tuning in, and I'll catch y'all later!
