He could always make you laugh for sure. 
He was a gentle giant who I never heard utter a negative word towards others.
Live and let live was how he conducted himself.
He did have another side, one that few ever experienced. 
If at any point he felt that anyone in our household needed someone to watch their back, his actions would let anyone know that they were treading on thin ice.
