**Oct 23 — The Blocknet has partnered with major design firm VSA Partners to deliver a best-in-class decentralized exchange application.**

As the blockchain industry matures, the need for inter-chain services and increased interoperability is growing. The competition is heating up, with the Blocknet at the forefront of a progressive movement to develop the tech needed to make inter-chain services a reality. The Blocknet currently enables cross-chain atomic swaps for 30 currencies, with new currencies quickly being added, and decentralizes the four core functions of an exchange: capital deposits, order broadcasting, order matching, and the exchange of tokens. However, it’s not all about the technology. A vital component to the success of a decentralized exchanged is the user interface.
