The mesh network will connect website owners, storage users and nodes. The Oyster Protocol allows websites to generate traffic that will produce revenue as visitors perform Proof of Work operations for a decentralized storage ledger. Web nodes are people's smartphones, computers or essentially any device with a modern web browser. Theses nodes communicate with each other, often needing connection brokerage from Broker Nodes. Web nodes reward for their work is allowed access to goods/services/content from the corresponding website creator. The website owners/creators and broker nodes are rewarded with PRL token. Pearl uses the IOTA Tangle to store files, and uses the visitor’s GPU/CPU processing power to make sure those files stay on the distributed ledger. Since PRL is an ERC-20 token, it also uses the Ethereum blockchain to pay out the content creators who have integrated this technology onto their website. There is no doubt that Oyster is a revolutionary technology but there job now is to capture a piece of the huge and growing internet ad revenue industry. If only a small part of the online ad market is captured Pearl could see massive gains, additionally if PRL is listed on better exchanges like Binance it's price will also benefit. Currently Oyster Pearl has a market cap of around 3.5 million USD and once reached a market cap of 135 million USD, so it is definitely down quite a bit. I believe if Oyster can continue to grow its user base and pump out more tech developments, it's price will soon surge especially if we are in a bull market. However as of now since we are still in a bear market I do not see it as being a good time to buy PRL as we will most likely see more blood in the altcoins.
