Lighthouse Who is the captain of this ship? This storm is choking me, I grasp for air and cry for help, I am drowning in misery The depths await with open arms, Begging to claim my soul My lighthouse closed long ago She left a gaping hole As darkness clouds my view ahead, I have nowhere left to turn I race in panic around the ship Trying to find the stern Oh hear my cry and take my pain But no one answers me For me alone can save the ship The captain I will be I chart my course and then set sail, I pray the skies turn blue, For now I am the Captain And hope will see me through Original poem by Jack Volk (Steemit: thedeplorable1) Photo: Google images
