This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

At the weekend I visiting the monument to the Battle of Nations.

It was erected to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the battle.

I like the reflection of the monument in the water, which makes it appear double.


Inside the structure is a hall with 4 huge figures representing bravery, strength of faith, people's strength and sacrifice.

It's very dark inside but I've tried to make the best of it. Here are 2 of the statues.

I took the photos myself with my EOS 760D camera and an EFS 18-55mm 0.25m/0.8ft lens.
