# Arriving at Ark ---  After some travel time had passed we find Octharg and Jespar arriving at Ark after looting a ghost bear entropic summoning spell, which helped out in a quick fight against a bear in the forest they happened upon during the last part before Ark. ***"Here we are Octharg, finally at Ark where you will be able to get help with controlling your magic. Just let me go sort something out and I will meet you in the market"*** said Jespar before running off. So off they went to separate sections of the city, Jespar went to get a fitting disguise to get Octharg into the city while he browsed the market stalls and bought any suitable potions or goods needed for future travels. Once Jespar got to the market the disguise was changed into and they headed up to see the Grandmaster. ***"I can tell you have a strange and powerful magic inside you. Definitely I will see what I can do to help you"*** claimed the grandmaster before blasting Octharg with a safe wave of magic. ***"This doesn't seem to be doing too much, but I can tell you do need some additional help so take this note and go seek out a friend of mine, Lishari, to get her help in releasing the sickness you feel during magic use."***    # Pit Shelter bandits & Old Rashengrad mercenaries --- Upon leaving Ark to seek out Lishari and sporting new spells like summoning a Fleshless Lost One and having a cloak of flames, that bears' young one came in for a fight in which the skeleton along with life absorption, quickly made light work of the foolish bear, before our villain kept moving along the path. After disposing of some weaker bandits nearby it was time to quickly look back at Ark while the cloak of flames was still cast and bathe in the glorious power being wielded.   Down the road, under a hatch leading down into the Pit Shelter cave, some stronger bandits were waiting for anybody stupid enough to venture into their base. Little did they know is the damage that would be dealt to them, thanks to the cloak of fire and other fire spells including the fireball cast before they were able to get close. ***"You foolish bandits shall all burn in my mighty power! Ha ha ha! Now cook for me peasants"*** yelled Octharg while laughing menacingly.    Next stop, Old Rashengrad! Luckily it was a short walk further and easily noticeable and the entrance was open. First greetings was too some mercenaries attacking Octharg, dealing some good damage to him while he lowered their health down with burning and absorbing their life, as per usual because it was one of his favourite spells.   A few potions were needed to heal up while talking to Lishari as she was asking for help to clear the place by splitting up before walking down different hallways. Reaching the end of his and turning to the left to look down that passageway ended up being the wrong choice... ***"Get that intruder!"*** was heard from the other passageway to the right before being hit from behind and being hit a second time while turning, seeing to a death of Octharg in this dreaded place. This was unacceptable to him and his revival meant being serious. So out came the ghost bear and a summoned battleaxe, two things deadly by nature and deadly by damage. Quick was the movement by the bear and the swinging of the big battleaxe and quick was the death to these scum, these mercenaries that dare take on The Destroyer!   Multiple more mercenaries were found further into Old Rashengrad, the leader as well. But they were easily beaten separately when Octharg activated the cloak of flames, blasted them with fireballs while the ghost bear attacked and then summoning the battleaxes once more, for a brutal but necessary slaughter so they would no longer be hurting anyone. Once it was clear and nobody or nothing else would be able to attack him, Octharg walked the last of the way and found Lishari again. ***"Okay let me see what I am dealing with here... Wow, you have incredible power inside so I will help you release it!"*** ***"Thank you and I am glad we managed to clear out all those mercenaries"*** Octharg said with a smile. Lishari used her powers and performed a ritual to release the magic stuck inside Octharg so it could be of use to him. It was a weird and slightly painful ritual for both but it allowed more power from magic to be used and made Octharg even happier. ***" I appreciate what you have done and will let the Grandmaster know about your studies and how much you helped me out. He will be pleased to hear of the progress you have been making"*** a breathless Octharg announced before waving goodbye and walking out of Old Rashengrad to go take a breath outside. This rest would be needed before traveling to another part of the land, before going back to Ark, to explore the outer regions of Enderal.    ***This was part 9 in a series accompanying Octharg The Destroyer on his journey to regain his lost power and become the destroyer he once was.
