Or you just have a certain grown adult friend who really loves Yetis. Adominable is about a magic Yeti that is captured to harness his power. In many ways it reminds me of the movie **Up** (which is fantastic by the way). Yi (voiced by Chloe Bennet) discovers and friends the Yeti but they are quickly forced on the run by the captors. The adventure takes you around the world and through the breathtaking scenery and color.  There is a slight nod to the ultra weird [Pixar short film Bao](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cB_2qU4GLCw) that I found amusing. If you haven't seen this short, you really have to watch it so you know how many drugs they take in Hollywood. It is really outrageously weird. The art work and style in Abominable is really amazing and if it was only for that it would be worth watching. There are a lot of cliches in the movie, like most family movies it is predictable and typical. That being said, I still recommend the experience, especially if you have a young one to enjoy it with.  The movie promotes a lot of healthy values like adventure, teamwork, and family.
