### Global Blacklist API

The Global Blacklist API is an interface for Steem related projects and services to be able to query multiple blacklist projects to identify bad actors.

### Post Promoter

Post Promoter is an open source bid bot maintained by @yabapmatt that is used by the majority of bid bots.  The latest version (Commit: 667dfc0) added support for the Global Blacklist API.  

Post Promoter allows a bot owner to use any of the supported blacklists exposed by the Global Blacklist API.    Currently, it supports blacklists from @buildawhale, @steemcleaners, @utopian-io, and @minnowbooster.

### Configuration

In the `config.json` file you need to add the following lines to the `blacklist_settings` section of the configuration file:

`"global_api_blacklists": ["buildawhale", "steemcleaners", "minnowbooster", "utopian"]`
