Same amazing art released completely free, as long as you use Unreal Engine to develop your game.  Although I highly doubt the content is worth $12 million, that is the value they have put on it.  They have done this in the past for other games for Unreal developers.  Really fantastic opportunity but much of it has a  very limited use as unless you can create art in the same quality and style you are limited to their assets only.  Something that is very difficult in game development.

Epic claims to have more characters and assets coming over time.  Right now the pack includes 20 heroes with unique additional skins, animations, dialog, sound effects, and 1,500 environmental assets.

You can find the assets [here](https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/assets?lang=&q=Paragon) but using it in other game engines like Unity I believe is against the license for these assets.  Although they are *free* they are exclusive to their engine only.

# What is Unreal Engine?

[Unreal](https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog) is the popular engine used by AAA game studios to develop 3D games.  Some of the most popular games today use Unreal like Fortnite, Quake, BioShock, PUBG.

Unreal is free to use for indies if you make less than $3,000/quarter per game.  After that, it is a fixed 5%.   I never used Unreal myself but I have done some development with Unity, which I love the engine it is a huge mess along with the company behind it.
