If you perfer to be alone in quiet spaces and you dream of rolling hills and flower fields.... you may be an introvert.  If big crowds drain you and you perfer the smell of old books.... you may be an introvert. 

**Here are 10 ways for a introvert to make friends.**

1.) Join a meet-up that sounds intresting.  I recently joined a ethereum meet-up and a virtual reality meet-up.

2.) Make eye-contact with people and smile often

3.) Take your work to a coffee house. (it is important to get out!! and try to say hi to at least 2 people while you are there)

4.)When someone invites you out.  GO!!!  (I know it can be difficult to commit but just do it)

5.)Start a on-line book club (social media friends are friends too!)

6.) Take a class you may enjoy like cooking, gardening, or writing (I recently decided to learn Adobe illustrator so I signed up for a course)

7.) Introduce yourself and share your intrest when meeting someone new and be inquisitive (Stay curious)

8.)Always carry a bright colored umbrella... bright colors are cheerful and people gravitate towards happy. :)

9.)Video conferencing can help with building friendships (I recently joined a dating site and I can be very quiet so now before going out I use facetime or skype before actually meeting up.... it does help)

10.) Be yourself you don't have to try to dress or act a certain way.  Stay geniune and be authentic. (Remember there is only one you and you are beautiful.
