Greetings fellow #Hivees,

finally, we've arrived at our designated blockchain. A place where this community can truly be free from the fangs of those whose names shall not be named.

I, for one, am very glad that this transition went over so smoothly, despite the pressure we all felt.

What follows next won't be easy, but if most def. is going to be satisfying & true to what I've always envisioned for Steem to become and what's now Hive.

A blockchain, built by the community, for the community.

<h2>Proposals</h2>

The reason I feel confident in writing the statement above is because Hive has an in-built funding method, I call the: *The **D**ecentralised **H**ive **F**und* or **DHF**.

The stakeholders/community alone can decide what is going to get funded on Hive and for how much. It is an extraordinary system that enables long-term development & growth of Hive due to clear incentives, without relying on a single entity.

So with this in mind, I present to you my first 2 proposals.

DHF Proposal 1: Hive.io Development & Maintenance
</h2>

You might have already seen [hive.io](https://hive.io), the landing page & entry door into the #Hive ecosystem.

Over the past week, I developed the website to do my part in making sure that Hive could experience an extraordinary launch. A website that looks slick & modern is critical for a good image. (Gratitude goes to @roelandp, who takes care of hosting the website)


But of course, the development still goes on.

DHF Proposal 2: HiveDappps.com Development, Infrastructure & Maintenance
</h2>

You might already know SteemApps.com, a web app I created initially for the #Steem blockchain, that provides dapp statistics as well as API access.

A well-known site that utilizes this API is [State of the Dapps](https://stateofthedapps.com).

And since I’ve switched my efforts to focus completely on Hive, it’s time to start development on HiveDapps.com.

I was actually working on another project for the past couple of months and really didn't plan to pause it or at least go from the gas padel, but ... priorities.

With Hive, I feel that it's extremely important to get things done ASAP. Hence why I started these 2 proposals. Time is money. Once people see how fast we can go in a fully decentralized community, phew. It's gonna' be wild!

With this said:
