Ok I am officially ready for robot players to take the place of human athletes.  In the past week, two of the most exciting young players in baseball have learned that they will most likely not pitch during the 2019 baseball season.

22 year old fireballer Michael Copek of  Chicago White Sox and the best pitcher/hitter combo since Babe Ruth Shohei Ohtani will both require Tommy John surgery before they can pitch again.
