Tom Twat is a *Character* I created when I felt the *Corporate World* was just ***One Big Joke***. My wife and I were both stuck in *Corporate Companies*, with neither of us being in a particularly *Healthy Environment*.

In all honesty, *Corporate* can be good, but it can be equally frustrating and just a *Terrible Environment*. There are various factors that can contribute to this e.g., *Poor Company Culture*, *Corporate Ladder Mentality*, *Dysfunctional Operating Procedures*, etc.

##### So, who is Tom Twat then?
###### Warning: Contains mildly strong language
Tom Twat is an *Alias* used to hide his *True Identity* from the *World*.

He is kind of like a *Digital Vigilante*. He possesses the contacts and abilities to delve deep into these *Corporate Assholes* that think they are above everything and anyone. 

What Tom does, is he’ll receive a call for help from someone within an *Organization* that feels they are being mistreated. This can range anything from *Sexual Harassment*, *Ill Working Conditions*, *Bullying*, *Unreasonably Overworked*, etc. He’ll then take it upon himself to delve into the matters at hand and establish relevance.

Tom will hack into their *Communications Systems*, receive feedback from other *Employees* and *Investigate* the potential *Culprit*, *Counterparts*, etc. This is all done in a completely *Covid* manner, never to expose his *Identity*. 

Tom has various connections throughout the *Investigative* and *Journalistic Industries*. At the end of the day, if you’re a complete *Asshole*, there will be stories to expose, and this is his ultimate goal. Exposing those, with the might and authority that think they can treat people any way they want, for *Who They Really Are*.

This can be anything ranging from happenings within the workplace, to elicit after-hours behavior. The message is clear. If you want to be an *Asshole*, Tom Twat may be watching, and he will expose you in one form or another.

Tom Twat decides on what shape and form the punishment is, much like most known *Vigilante’s* would. He doesn’t, however, lean towards *Physical Violence*. He merely exposes those to show their weakness and vulnerabilities. If he does find himself in a sticky situation, or under extreme circumstances, he is quite proficient at hand-to-hand combat. These are, however, rare instances. For the most part, Tom will expose the *Culprit* either via *Internal Company Communications*, *Social Media*, or *News Articles*, and a combination of these.

Other than the fact that Tom has some borderline, nefarious connections, he’s pretty much an ordinary guy. He has no superpowers or crazy gadgets. He does have an innate ability to accurately judge people and an extremely proficient team at his disposal. He’s a great, caring leader with a soft spot for those that are being mistreated. At face value, if you had to meet Tom, you’d see him as just another nice guy.

As for his *Friends* and *Colleagues*, many of them also have *Aliases’*. Most have joined Tom as his reputation developed through some of the *Web’s Darker Channels*. Misty, for example, might be Bob the *Truck Driver*, or a 10-year-old *Genius* for all we know. With her *Advanced Technological Prowess*, Misty may seem as sweet as an *Angel*, yet be quite different from the actual *Online Avatar* being displayed. 

The above is all *Purely Fictional*, although I do enjoy the thought of a real Tom Twat floating around, helping those in need. I’m sure there are many of us out there that have been mistreated in the *Workplace* and would appreciate some *Justice*, even if it had to be from a *Vigilante* called Tom Twat, HaHa.

I’m contemplating some *Short Stories* about Tom Twat. It would be fun watching some make-belief *Corporate Assholes* get some of their own back.
