A while back leofinance which is a layer 2 community on the hive [blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) focusing on [crypto](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency), [blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) and [financial](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-finance) content has launched and added a new feature called leo #threads to its front end leofinance.io

## Leo threads is microblogging on the [blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain)
Leofinance.io is a [web 3.0](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0) platform and adding microblogging to it means the power of tokenization is being added to the short format twitter like content that you can make and post to leofinance.
This is in addition to the long format content that leofinance.io already lets you post from your free leofinance.io account.

## Some simple English please ?
What this means is if you were to create short twitter like tweets and instead of or in addition to twitter post this content on to leo threads ([blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) version of twitter) you are giving yourself the chance of earning some [crypto](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency).

If you see this as your role in a start up then you must be aware that a start up gives you better opportunities to grow and flourish as compared to an older legacy player in the web 2.0 space.
## Is it you telling the world to give up twitter and get on to leo threads ?
One should not say that because being a #Threads Squires involves showcasing the freedom that a decentralized [blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) brings to a persons life. Add to it the fact that your #threads and post generate positive interactions and upvotes which add up to your [crypto](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency) income.

## It is not even a job yet it is far more rewarding
In a 9 to 5 job there is no binding of time or being chained to your desk or workstation.
In fact your role starts where the realm of web 2.0 ends.
So the more out of the box you thing and promote #Threads the more would be the rewards that come to you.
This is simply because in [web 3.0](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0) authentic, genuine, meaningful, thought provoking  likable content goes a long way in creating positive interactions which translates into rewards for the author / content creator.
Thus it is upto you how you want to boost and propel the leo ship forward, faster and safely to make the leo thread a happy oasis where different users can come in and express themselves, thrive and grow.

## Requirements to become  a #Threads Squire
- Be a heavy #threads user
- Knowing how the Hive [blockchain](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/blockchain) works
- Want to engage on Twitter
- Be part of other communities on Hive
- Must have made a #MyLeoGoals post

## Should I put in my application for the role of #Threads Squire even if I do not meet all the requirements ?
I too am tempted to take up the role because 

On twitter I did earn some name and fame
Interacting with people is my game
catching their attention with my meme's is my ticket to fame
This I can admit without any shame
So I thing I should get in touch with @leogrowth on discord  (@leogrowth#5852 )
and Who knows we could sign an accord

I am a bit short on the 5000 LP which is the target of the my #leogoals for 2023. However if I am assigned  this role I would gladly break my piggy bank and be there.
The Leo Power Up day LPUD is just round the corner and what a great opportunity to power up and be a #Threads Squire ?

## You can cross post your content
A good tip for anyone would be to cross post their leo # threads to twitter and invite people to do the same coming from the web 2.0 twitter side to leo #threads.

## Final thoughts 
At the end of the day there is an opening for 5 #Threads Squire's however anyone can be the unofficial #Threads Squire and do their bit to promote Leo, leofinance and Hive.
Every time you promote and take the idea of [web 3.0](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-web-3-0), leo leofonance and hive forward more people come on board and the ecosystem thrives and brings in more rewards for you.
