Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a good day. My name is Native boy, I live in Tamale Ghana 🇬🇭. 

Since onboarding, the support from the Hive Ghana community has been amazing,  I’m excited to share with all of you my journey so far, the setbacks and how I’ve managed to overcome some of these challenges.

> Are you new to Hive, and if so, how long have you been using it?

I’m new to hive, but hive is not new to me. I created my Hive account four months ago but I started posting content on Hive only two months ago. I’ve known about hive even before I joined Hive. My close friends who introduced me to Hive have been writing contents on hive for almost two years. After several months of procrastinating I finally made it to hive and I’m glad that I gave it a shot. The journey has been great and I can’t wait to explore more.


> Are you enjoying your time on Hive?

I’m definitely enjoying my time here, with no doubt. Hive is not difficult to use, there are no several restrictions and all the front ends are dope. 
Also, apart from the friends I had before onboarding, I’ve also managed to make a couple good friends on this platform who assist me all the time to thread around this blockchain. 
I’ve also engaged in some couple of interesting contests in certain communities which I enjoyed so much and even got rewarded sometimes for participating.

> What challenges have you faced on Hive, and how have you overcome them?

My journey on hive hasn’t been all rosy. I’ve been hit with a few setbacks but that definitely hasn’t stopped me from going. 
One of my frequent challenge has been consistency. As someone who’s new to blogging and content creation, coming up with quality topics or ideas has been a frequent challenge. I usually go for days without submitting a content simply because I can’t think of anything interesting to write about. 

Recently, I’ve been able to partially overcome this hurdle by engaging in community contests. In this case, the community would have already provided a topic or an idea of what to write about and how to articulate the content. 

By engaging in contests, I have been able to get ideas to create quality contents and even win rewards in some cases. 

> What have you learned on Hive, and how has it been helpful to you?

Hive has taught me to earn and invest passive income. My activities on hive does not only yield passive income, through exploring the the financial streets of hive, I’ve also discovered a way I can invest my Hive earnings to generate more passive income. 

This has helped me to better my financial situation and ease the pressure on my monthly salary. Knowing that with Hive I’ve got another stream of income, I can now afford to spend part of my my monthly salary without feeling insecure. 

> Would you recommend Hive to others, and how would you help them appreciate being a part of the community and enjoy their experience on the platform?

I’ll definitely recommend hive to as many deserving people as I can find. Hive is an awesome ecosystem with vast of potential. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend hive to anyone. I would take it as a sole responsibility to educate whoever I recommend Hive to about the importance of plagiarism and other regulations that are seriously frowned upon on Hive. I’ll make sure the understand the importance of creativity, tolerance and consistency in thriving in this platform.
