Well, over the span of a week on a remote, tropical beach on the east coast of Colombia I reluctantly pulled myself out of bed at around 5am everyday to investigate what colours the new day would bring over the ocean.  I am not going to lie.. but somedays were not that colourful and so in those cases I made way to the already prepared hammocks that hung on the ocean's edge and took a good morning nap.  To be honest, the hardest part of getting up at 5am is those few seconds it takes to actually get out of bed - after you are up and moving its all easy after that... well, easier..

However, there were also days where I was beyond happy that I did actually wake up and climb out of the top bunk, grab my camera and walk the 50m to the ocean edge on a sandy beach.  Now, as I am leaving the beach and making my way to an area that is world renown for their sunsets - called Manizales.
