I live in a detached house with my family. There is a 500 square meter garden in front of our house. In a part of the garden, we grow agricultural products that we can consume in summer and autumn. There are fruit trees in other parts of the garden. Most of the fruit trees that grow in high altitude areas are available in our garden. Especially lots of apple trees. There was a huge mulberry tree in our garden 25 years ago. Nowadays, there is no mulberry tree in our garden. It is among the details that make the mulberry tree stand out that it bears black, white and purple fruits and has a very good aroma, the harvest season is very long, molasses is produced from the fruit, and the leaves are wrapped.

Siyah, beyaz ve mor renkte meyve vermesi ve aromasının gayet iyi olması, hasat mevsiminin çok uzun sürmesi, meyvesinden pekmez üretilmesi, yaprağından sarma yapılması dut ağacını öne çıkaran detaylar arasında yer alır.

Mulberry tree is obtained from seed under normal conditions. However, this method takes quite a long time. In addition, the success rate with this method is low. Therefore, it is easier to grow a mulberry tree with the steel method.

Our neighbors have a mulberry tree in their garden. I asked my neighbor for 3 mulberry branches. I took care that these branches were 1 or 2 years old. Old or thick branches are difficult to root.

Then I cut the branches with pruning shears about 30 cm in size.

While cutting the branches, I made sure that there were at least 6 pores on the branch. The branch in the image has 7 pores. If the steeling process is completed successfully, the leaves will start to turn green from the pores.

After cutting the branches, I prepared a bucket, some soil, some animal manure and water. After mixing the soil and animal manure, I filled the resulting mixture into the bucket.

>Dalları kestikten sonra bir adet kova, bir miktar toprak, biraz hayvan gübresi ve su hazırladım. Toprak ile hayvan gübresini karıştırdıktan sonra, oluşan karışımı kovanın içine doldurdum.

I stuck the branch into the bucket so that at least 3 of the pores on the branch were in the soil. After doing this for all branches, I filled the bucket with water. Since the mulberry tree loves moist soil, I filled the bucket with water so that it overflowed.

>Daldaki gözeneklerden en az 3'ü toprakta bulunacak şekilde dalı kovaya sapladım. Bunu tüm dallar için yaptıktan sonra kovaya su doldurdum. Dut ağacı nemli toprağı çok sevdiği için kova taşacak şekilde su doldurdum.

It is very important to always have water in the bucket. Particular attention should be paid to this. After about 15 days, the rooting process should be completed successfully. After the branches take root, I will plant the seedlings in the ground. Apart from mulberry branches, there is one juniper and one grape branch in the bucket. Let's see which ones will root.

>Kovada sürekli su bulunması oldukça önemli. Buna özellikle dikkat edilmeli. Yaklaşık 15 günden sonra köklendirme işleminin başarılı şekilde tamamlanması gerekir.
