Raising a child or children in today's society or generation takes the grace of God. The first and most important lesson to teach my children is prayers/praying. I was born and raised in a Christian home; we were taught to always pray in any condition or situation we find ourselves in, be it good or bad, because prayer is a shield between the physical and spiritual world, it can also help direct you on the right path.

Respect for others,is also important to teach them that everyone deserves love and respect, regardless of their background or beliefs. I also think that respectful child always or sometimes finds favor.

Gratitude, it is important to teach them always to be thankful for what they have wether big or small. For appreciation sometimes open doors for more blessings.

Giving a helping hand if they can, because they might need help too in the future one way or another. To never laugh or mock anybody, no matter the situation of that person.

To always say or stand for the truth in any situation or circumstance they find themselves, because being truthful is the best policy.

Good manners, help them understand that politeness and good manners are crucial for socal skills and relationships.

And they should understand that every day cannot be Christmas ๐ŸŽ„๐ŸŽ; some days will be rough and some will be soft. They should never give up because there's always light at the end of the tunnel. They should learn from their failures/mistakes, and keep trying.

These are but a few of the important lessons that I think every parent should consider teaching their children. Thank you for stopping by See you next time...
