**WOW, where to start...** 

Just over 24 hours ago the homie *senseiteekay* got me onto Steemit, I had no real understanding of cryptocurrency and the implications of such an idea within our centralised world. Like any person that keeps up with current affairs I was well aware of Bitcoin and other currencies but **HOLY FUCKING SHIT THIS IS HUGE!**

The value of virtual currency can't be overlooked.

**POWER TO THE PEOPLE!**

I'm drunk, and its currently 9PM on a Sunday night in Brisbane, to add to it all I'm so excited about Steemit that I can hardly contain myself. Literally most of my waking hours in the last 2 days have been spent reading through the various posts and topics, *plus* basking in the eternal sunshine that is a *real functioning free market concept.*

Everyday people are making thousands of dollars from nothing but **CONTENT**. I mean, how is the whole technologically advanced world not losing their fucking shit right now?! I'm sure most of you know the answer. Thus far I am yet to receive a substantial piece of the pie as such, but I have literally doubled my dollar value in the last 24 hours, through 3 simple posts and some browsing/commenting/up voting. 

Fuck, to be honest I'm literally just so stoked to see all you guys out there making that $$$$$

ITS ABOUT MOTHERFUCKIN POSTING AND MOTHERFUCKIN CONTRIBUTING TO CONVERSATIONS STARTED BY OTHER MEMBERS OF YO HUMAN RACE.

From Steemit how-dos to makeup tutorials, from stories to travel blogs, the mechanism that is this paradise can be quite a beautiful thang. Obviously with the inundation of new users *most members barely have enough Steem Power to influence posts greatly,* but as the flow of people coming in levels out I think we're gonna see some serious money making, mo serious than we've seen already.

Welcome to the future ya'll, I'm truly overwhelmed by the power of Steemit, the cesspool that is the internet is made a little less cesspool-y by this beautiful creation. My knowledge of virtual currency and the surrounding culture is building fast and its all thanks to you guys!
