The English Premiership resumed today with Match day 17 games featuring some of the teams contending for the top spot, Liverpool, Chelsea and Leicester City. After match day 16, Liverpool were leading Leicester City by 8 points, and Manchester City by 14 points.

While they hoped to close up the gap between them and Liverpool, Leicester City were held to a 1-1 draw at home today by Norwich City. The only goal credited to Leicester City was an own goals by Norwich Goalkeeper, Timothy Krul. Liverpool on the other hand recorded another win, beating Watford 2-0 at Anfield. 

1 point from today's game puts Leicester at 39 points, 10 points behind Liverpool, who have won all but one of their league matches this season, which ended in a draw. Day by day, match after match, the league title keeps looking good for Liverpool this season. Hope they are able to manage the overwhelming nature of the matches they have this year end.
