Life is not easy, and truth be told, it was never promised to be. Each of us wakes up to a different set of struggles. While some are smiling on the outside, they are bleeding on the inside. The journey of life is full of ups and downs, moments of joy and seasons of pain. Some challenges shake us to our roots, health issues, financial troubles, heartbreaks, or even the loss of a loved one. There are situations that seem so tough. We wonder if we will ever come out of them. One thing to remember, however, is that no situation lasts forever. No matter how dark a tunnel is, there's always light at the end of it. This doesn’t mean everything will always work out the way we want, but it means we have the strength to go through it. Many people give up just before their breakthrough, not because they are weak, but because life feels too heavy at times. For instance, think about someone whose wife keeps having complications during pregnancy. Going through evacuations three times is not just physically painful but emotionally draining. Life doesn’t come with a manual. What works for one person may not work for another. That’s why comparison often leads to frustration. Just because your friend found success early doesn’t mean you’re failing. Life isn’t a race; it’s a personal journey. The only thing that’s certain in this life is death. Every other thing is unpredictable. This is why we must trust in a higher power, something beyond our human understanding. In hard times, endurance is key. It’s okay to feel tired, to cry, to pause, but never give up. Giving up is the true defeat. As long as there is breath in your lungs, there is still a chance for things to turn around. Some seasons will break you, but if you don’t bend permanently, you will grow stronger from them. In the end, life is what it is. You either cope or give up. But it’s the one who gives up that truly loses. Keep going. Keep believing. As long as you’re alive, hope is still alive, too.
