Someone asked me to publish on their site instead of Steemit
### Seems this web developer guy found my Steemit account through YouTube and he wanted for me to write content for his website instead of Steemit.

I told him he could take my articles if he wanted, but that I would publish on Steemit first because I can claim copyright and overall feel more protected.

He wasn't having it, says he monetizes using adsense and the Google robots could backlist him as a plagiarist if he were to copy content from other sites.

### So we talked and talked until he agreed to create a Steemit account for his website and republish the articles there, giving me a mention and letting me keep the rewards the post makes on Steemit.

###### I might be able to get exposure for some of my referral links through his site too so that could be good.

It's the first time I've ever made contact with another Steemit user because they want to hire me. I don't really like deadlines so I told him we could be collaborators instead and we're going to see how that goes.

# Steemit is a great tool for networking!
