#### Introduction

Steemit which is a social media that pays you for blogging and also offers so many other means of gaining both value and knowledge. So i decided to do a promotion of the website to get the students of FUTO( Federal University of Technology) to be informed about this great platform. I had followed to head a steemit Futo reach-out sometime early febuary and we plan on building a FUTO community. So this promotion is a first step to achieving that. 

#### Audience
I did a facebook tutorial ad on what steemit is about and the benefits of being on the platform. I did the ad and promoted it to have an estimated reach of 15k to 20k people, male and female between the age of 13-44 yrs.  I promoted it so that a high reach of futo students across Nigeria could be achieved. 

#### Activity
The ad ran for three days and ended on the 17th of febuary.

#### Result
The promoted ad was able to reach over 5k people after the three days with a paid reach of 4969 people and an organic reach of 271 people,  making a total of 5240 people reach. The ad also had over 2800 interactions, which is pretry good.
