**A necessary introduction**

<div class="text-justify">I once read that "nobody knows what they are capable of doing until they do it". This maxim has haunted my life and for good because I have been able to break myths and do things that for me seemed impossible and, within them was this adventure called Hive.

As I have said in several publications and meetings about this ecosystem, I did not believe it was possible for this to exist because my world in social networks was limited to Facebook, YouTube and some others. There is also the fact of being part of an analog stage and having heard about scams in the networks that made me quite incredulous. 

But, in 2022 two computer engineers arrived and were assigned to my work area.

They began to explain, they told me that I did not have to invest anything, that they only put some conditions, but that the basis was the quality of writing, meeting the established standards and that, in addition, I received economic benefits for it. 

The days went by and I started to listen to topics such as Web 3, Blockchain, tokens, ecosystems, Ecency, Hive. I don't know what happened, but suddenly I was involved in conversations about Hive and curiosity got the better of me.

Thus began my journey through this world of love and creation and I want to tell in this publication the main facts and moments lived in this wonderful world called Hive.

**On the way to the adventure called Hive**

On July 1st, 2022 @theinfiltred, @deadlink and @nony helped me to create the account in Hive and the laughter and demands began because they told me that I should have a user name as in other social networks because it would be how the members of the ecosystem would know me and well I went to the formula of combining loved ones and my name in Hive came out. 

**What is the meaning of my name in Hive?**

This is the answer: My name is Antonio, but they call me Tony, hence the first four letters. The last two letters are because my mother and my wife are called Estela and since they are two essential beings in my life, I added the "estela" to my nickname. This is how my name in Hive came out: tonyes.

After overcoming this first challenge I set out to make my presentation. I must say that the engineers who were already in Hive explained to me what the presentation was about and showed me the ones they had made. I want to thank them for all the help I received in each of the stages of my life in Hive for all the help.

I must say that the presentation had a good acceptance and when I saw that what my engineers were saying was true I started to believe and love the ecosystem. However, something negative happened in the following publication that bothered me, but, for not complying with something that I have as a philosophy of life and that is to study things well before starting on them. 

I happen to be a sports lover and I knew that this will be one of my favorite communities. So I took the plunge and made a publication, but a rule said that I had to make a video presentation and I had not read it. For that reason they muted my second post. This, far from discouraging me, pushed me to keep growing and forced me to read the rules before posting.

**Principles and advice I give to newcomers**

This is basic and I consider that beyond the rules and things that exist, in each space where there is a person who is in the ecosystem this has its own practices. From my experience I tell you:

- You should see Hive as a personal and professional experience because it will allow you to address different personal experiences and others linked to your professional world and all kinds that you can capture in a publication.
- You must create a template or a way of publishing that you will be recognized for. As researchers I told you that we have a way of conceiving an article and here it is the same because we must think of writing with Introduction, Development and Conclusions.
- Take care of spelling and quality. This is vital because it is taking care of your prestige.
- Make community life. Answering messages, commenting, exchanging is vital.
- Choose where you want to publish first and then get out of your comfort zone.
- Hive is not to get rich. This is key because many enter thinking they are going to get rich and when they do not see this criterion satisfied they leave. Here I give you examples of how many publications I have had with zero and what I try to do is get better at capturing the reader's attention.

**Achievements and/or fundamental contributions in this year of adventures in Hive**

- Workshops. As a way of expansion, knowledge and recruitment of new members we have held workshops at the center, in which we have invited leaders of the Hive Cuba community and other prestigious Hiver, to teach us topics and clarify doubts.
- Incorporation of 9 new members to the ecosystem.
- Database. I have created a database in which I keep track of my publications, the communities where I have made them, the number of votes, comments and remuneration received.
- Hive at the Book Fair. At the International Book Fair we had an important participation as members of our institute's team.
- Creation of a community. We created a community called The Cience Scoop, where topics related to Geosciences are published.

On July 5, 2023 I turned one year old in Hive and to celebrate it I came up with the idea of making the First Scientific-Interactive Workshop on Hive, in which members of our community participated, 5 presentations were exposed, I exposed my experiences in this year by Hive and those who have most supported the work of Hive in our center were stimulated.


**By way of conclusion**

Hive has given me the possibility to fulfill my journalistic dreams and I have been able to be a sports reporter of a Soccer World Cup, a World Baseball Classic or follow in the footsteps of the finals of sports tournaments in different parts of the world. Through Hive I have traveled through the wonders of books, the fiction of movies or the entertainment generated by television series. With Hive I have learned more about the beauties of my beloved Cuba and I have been hunting for beautiful experiences, to be told on weekends. I have had a beer or a coffee with a friend to fraternize and become a pretext for a good publication.
Hive has not made me rich, but it has given me the possibility of having an income to alleviate the hard economic situation we have in this part of the planet. 

What I can assure you is that the end of the year 2022 and my birthday on January 1, 2023 I was able to celebrate, in part, thanks to this income.

But what has filled me the most is from the spiritual point of view because it has forced me to study, I have improved my way of describing facts and news. It has kept me with that permanent need to look for the news to tell it. It is true that I have had disappointments, but when you look at the whole process you can't help but keep looking for ways to improve yourself.

Finally, I feel the need to incorporate other colleagues to this adventure because I consider that, as they did with me and enrolled me in this adventure, I should do it too. From them, I invite @theinfiltred, @nony and @osismi to participate in this initiative. I believe that the partners we have managed to bring to the ecosystem is our modest contribution to the growth of this adventure of love and creation called HIVE.

Una vez leí que “nadie sabe lo que es capaz de hacer hasta que lo hace”. Esta máxima ha perseguido mi vida y para bien porque he sido capaz de romper mitos y hacer cosas que para mí parecían imposibles y, dentro de ellas estaba esta aventura que se llama Hive.

Como he dicho en varias publicaciones y encuentros sobre este ecosistema no creía posible que esto existiera porque mi mundo en las redes sociales se limitaba a Facebook, YouTube y alguna que otra más. También está el hecho de ser parte de una etapa analógica y haber escuchado sobre las estafas en las redes que me hacían bastante incrédulo. 

Pero, en el 2022 llegaron dos ingenieros informáticos y fueron asignados a mi área de trabajo.

Comenzaron a explicar, me dijeron que no había que invertir nada, que sólo te ponían algunas condiciones, pero que la base era la calidad de escribir, cumplir las normas establecidas y que, además, me recibía beneficios económicos por ello. 

Siguieron los días y comencé a escuchar temas como Web 3, Blockchain, tokens, ecosistemas, Ecency, Hive. No sé qué sucedió, pero de pronto me vi envuelto en conversaciones sobre Hive y la curiosidad me ganó.

De esta manera comenzó mi andar por este mundo de amor y creación y quiero en esta publicación contar los principales hechos y momentos vividos en este mundo maravilloso llamado Hive.

**Rumbo a la aventura llamada Hive**

El 1ro de julio de 2022 @theinfiltred, @deadlink y @nony me ayudaron a crear la cuenta en Hive y comenzaron las risas y exigencias porque me dijeron que debía tener un nombre de usuario como en otras redes sociales porque sería como me conocerían los miembros del ecosistema y bueno acudí a la fórmula de combinar seres queridos y salió mi nombre en Hive. 

**¿Cuál es el significado de mi nombre en Hive?**

Esta es la respuesta: Mi nombre es Antonio, pero me dicen Tony, de ahí las cuatro primeras letras. Las últimas dos letras se deben a que mi mamá y mi esposa se llaman Estela y como son dos seres imprescindibles en mi vida a mi sobrenombre le incorporé la es de estela. De esta manera salió mi nombre en Hive: tonyes.

Después de superado este primer reto me dispuse a hacer mi presentación. Debo decir que los ingenieros que ya estaban en Hive me explicaron de qué iba la presentación y me mostraron las que ellos habían realizado. Quiero agradecerles toda la ayuda recibida en cada una de las etapas de mi vida dentro de Hive por todo la ayuda.

Debo decir que la presentación tuvo una buena aceptación y al ver que lo que decían mis ingenieros era cierto comencé a creer y querer al ecosistema. Sin embargo, algo negativo sucedió en la siguiente publicación que me molestó, pero, por no cumplir con algo que tengo como filosofía de vida y es estudiar bien las cosas antes de comenzar en ellas. 

Sucede que soy un enamorado de los deportes y sabía que esa será una de mis comunidades preferidas. Pues me lancé e hice una publicación, pero una regla decía que debía hacer un video de presentación y no lo había leído. Por tal razón me mutearon mi segunda publicación. Esto, lejos de amilanarme me impulsó a seguir creciendo y me obligó a leer las reglas antes de publicar.

**Principios y consejos que doy  a los que llegan**

Esto es básico y considero que más allá de las reglas y las cosas que existen, en cada espacio donde haya una persona que esté en el ecosistema este tiene sus propias prácticas. A partir de mi experiencia les digo:

•Debes ver a Hive como una experiencia personal y profesional porque te permitirá abordar diferentes experiencias personales y otras vinculadas con tu mundo profesional y de todo tipo que podrás plasmar en una publicación.
•Debes crear una plantilla o una manera de publicar por la que te reconozcan. Como investigadores les dije que tenemos una manera de concebir un artículo y aquí es igual porque debemos pensar en escribir con Introducción, Desarrollo y Conclusiones.
•Cuide la ortografía y la calidad. Esto es vital porque es cuidar tu prestigio.
•Haga vida comunitaria. Responder mensajes, comentar, intercambiar es vital.
•Escoja donde quiere publicar primero y después salga de su zona de confort.
•Hive no es para hacerte rico. Esto es clave porque muchos entran pensando que se van a hacer ricos y cuando no ven satisfecho este criterio abandonan. Aquí les pongo ejemplos de cuántas publicaciones yo he tenido con cero y lo que intento es mejorar para captar la atención del lector.

**Logros y/o contribuciones fundamentales en este año de aventuras en Hive**

•Talleres. Como vía de expansión, conocimiento y captación de nuevos miembros hemos realizados talleres en el centro, en los que hemos invitados a líderes de la comunidad Hive Cuba y otros Hiver de prestigio, para que nos impartan temas y nos aclaren dudas.
•Incorporación de 9 nuevos miembros al ecosistema.
•Base de datos. He creado una base de datos en las que llevo el registro de mis publicaciones, las comunidades donde las he hecho, la cantidad de votos, comentarios y remuneración recibida.
•Hive en la Feria del Libro. En la Feria Internacional del Libro tuvimos una participación importante como miembros del equipo de nuestro instituto.
•Creación de una comunidad. Creamos una comunidad que se llama The Cience Scoop, en la que se publican temas relacionados con las Geociencias.

El 5 de julio de 2023 cumplí un año de vida en Hive y para celebrarlo se me ocurrió la idea de hacer el Primer Taller Científico-Interactivo sobre Hive, en el que participaron miembros de nuestra comunidad, se expusieron 5 presentaciones, expuse mis experiencias en este año por Hive y se estimularon a los que más han apoyado el trabajo de Hive en nuestro centro.

**A manera de conclusión**

Hive me ha dado la posibilidad de cumplir mis sueños periodísticos y he podido ser cronista deportivo de una Copa Mundial de Fútbol, un Clásico Mundial de Béisbol o seguirle los pasos a las finales de torneos deportivos en diferentes partes del mundo. Por Hive he viajado por las maravillas de los libros, la ficción de las películas o el entretenimiento que te generan las series de televisión. Con Hive he sabido más de las bellezas de mi Cuba querida y he estado cazando experiencias hermosas, para ser contadas los fines de semana. Me he tomado una cerveza o un café con un amigo o amiga para confraternizar y que se conviertan en pretexto de una buena publicación.
Hive no me ha hecho rico, pero me ha dado la posibilidad de contar con un ingreso para paliar la dura situación económica que tenemos por esta parte del planeta. 

Lo que sí puedo asegurar es que el fin de año del 2022 y mi cumpleaños del 1ro de enero del 2023 lo pude celebrar, en parte, gracias a estos ingresos.

Pero lo que más me ha llenado es desde el punto de vista espiritual porque me ha obligado a estudiar, he mejorado mi manera de describir hechos y noticias. Me ha mantenido con esa necesidad permanente de buscar la noticia para contarla. Es cierto que he tenido decepciones, pero, cuando miras todo el proceso no puedes menos que seguir buscando la manera de mejorarte.

Por último, siento la necesidad de incorporar a otros compañeros a esta aventura porque considero que, como mismo hicieron conmigo y me enrolaron en esta aventura debo hacerlo yo también. De ellos, invito a @theinfiltred, @nony y a @osismi a que participen en esta iniciativa. Creo que los compañeros que hemos logrado llevar al ecosistema es nuestra modesta contribución al crecimiento de esta aventura de amor y creación que se llama HIVE.</div>
