Every year the same story repeats itself - I carefully follow my ducks so that they do not make a nest and do not bring ducklings. I'm a vegan and if I'm not attentive, soon my house will be completely occupied by ducks. Of course, I try to find a new home for the ducklings, but the one who takes them as pets takes one maximum of two. In other cases, they are taken to grow and eat, but I do not give my ducklings to such people. Therefore, reproduction control is my only salvation.

But sometimes my duck manages to deceive me. If I find a nest that is already filled with the down of my future mother, I do not touch it and admit my defeat. Although I must admit that in recent years she is no longer such a crazy mother as she used to be. She may well leave the nest. As for the ducklets, she doesn't keep an eye on them very well either. It's not clear why she does all this at all! To sit on the nest for a whole month, and then at some point to spit on it all.

I also found a hay nest on an old walnut tree in my garden. I also have great doubts about the foresight of this future mother. The forest is very close and it's much safer there. But no, she chose a place for the nest where cats constantly climb. I don't think her family project will be successful(((
