Hi, Hive folks! Today I continue to talk about my dogs. Of course, I would like to do this in a more orderly way and already collect all my eighteen dogs in separate posts and only link when I write about someone specific. But so far I'm not doing very well. But I try to at least achieve some consistency in this. Today I want to talk about a very special dog. Her name is Mouse and she is my best friend. We met at a very difficult time for me. I lost two puppies, which were born by my beloved Labrador girl. It was terrible. A little girl died of enteritis and a little boy was poisoned. Both of these events happened within a month and I was completely crushed. It always seemed to me that I did not do enough to save them, although of course this was not so. It was very difficult for me. One day I went to my father who was still alive then. In the courtyard of an apartment building, I saw a small black puppy. Then I thought that someone was walking with her. But then I came a few more times and I saw this puppy again. Then I asked the guard whose puppy it was, and he replied that it was nobody's. I made my decision very quickly. A tiny puppy alone on a city street is always very dangerous. I took her and put her in my car. «We are coming home!» I said. It's a pity that I don't have pictures of her when she was a puppy. She was very nice. And surprisingly, she turned out to be absolutely a car dog. We drove for a long time, two hours, because I live quite far outside the city, and besides, the road was being repaired then. But she was absolutely calm. She was not seasick, she felt great and looked around with interest. Since then, she has always accompanied me on trips. She loves it. In addition, she has no competitors. Romashka is already too old to travel, and the rest of the dogs get sick if the distance is too long. But Mouse, as it sometimes seems to me, is ready to live in the car. She can travel by car as far as she likes without showing fatigue or discomfort. After the occupation, Mouse and I carried humanitarian aid on our bus. Soldiers at checkpoints recognized her and called Volunteer Mouse. She is an amazing dog. A puppyhood on the streets, when she had to survive on her own, made her very wise. She is not very sociable with other dogs and does not make friends with anyone in particular, but she manages to maintain a good relationship with everyone. She is also great with people. This is not the kind of dog that will run to everyone, wagging its tail, it is very reserved but unfailingly polite. Now Mouse is the dog that lives in my house longer than all other dogs. We can say that it is she who is the rightful mistress here, and other dogs obey her rules. I always have confidence in her. She won't start a fight, she won't steal anything from the table, she won't ruin things. She is the first to meet new animals that come to my house. In this, they and the cat Katya fulfill a common mission.
I will also be grateful to you if you subscribe to my shelter's YouTube channel and like my videos, it will help my animals
[ ](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0uF0CV1wtH1kdQ9W4bojmg)
