<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;I was introduced to this site by a newsletter recommended to me as being a credible source of information on cryptocurrencies. They have a page dedicated to educating neophytes on cryptocurrencies, and one of their recommendations was to join this site and buy $100.00 to $200.00 in STEEM POWER, as well as investing a percentage of my investment capital in BITCOIN, ETHER, AND MONERO.</p>
<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;So, in mid-May of this year I went ahead and followed their recommendations and bought into the cryptocurrencies recommended and made some money; and since the cryptocurrency investments are working out so well I thought what the hell, I may as well give the last recommendation (STEEMIT) a shot and see what it’s about. I had tried Facebook some years back, but at that point in my life I really didn’t have time to keep up with a social media website from which I had derived little satisfaction. So, I canceled.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I’m 65 years old and intend to retire in June of 2018. My youngest son will have completed his second year of college at that point, and I will have held up my end of the bargain of paying for his first two years—he’s on his own for the last two. So, at retirement time I had already decided I would give Facebook another shot as I’ll have plenty of time on my hands. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>Well I guess I’m early and have discovered a social media site with rewards to boot.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I’ve been with the same company for over 40 years, the last 25 ½ years of that have been in a high-pressure capacity. I won’t miss the job, but many friends and associates will no longer be part of my day to day existence. I expect this website may fill some of that vacuum. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
<p>I have a tiny bit of experience and knowledge that one tends to accumulate over a lifetime, and it is my hope that I find some kindred spirits with which to trade some of what’s contained in my universe with what’s contained in theirs. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
