It didn't occur to me until I was almost done putting this month's Power Up Day post together, that it's been almost exactly two years now since I started managing this initiative. It was On May 27th, 2020 that @streetstyle, who was the originator of Hive Power Up Day (though it began with <a href="https://peakd.com/steem/@streetstyle/you-have-some-steem-now-what-steem-power-day-steem-voting-rvf4s7w5" rel="noopener" target="_blank">a different name on our legacy chain back in April of 2019</a>), quietly dropped a 1K Hive Power delegation in my wallet, then disappeared from the blockchain. Yes, I know his profile shows he was active on January 17th of this year, but that was the day that 3Speak had a hiccup & published some old videos. I'm still holding out hope that he'll cruise on by Hive some day soon, and I can't wait to see his reaction to how much his amazing idea has taken off in the past twenty four months. 

Now to the business at hand - while technically in my little corner of the world there's still around 2 hours left of May (I'm posting this a bit after 10:00pm EST), #HivePUD for June 1st 2022 has already arrived in other parts of the world. <h2>What is HivePUD?</h2>
 
Hive Power Up Day happens on the first of every month. Those who are able to, take this time to power up some Hive, and/or cancel their power downs and pause trading/selling for the 24 hour span of the day.

<h2>What are the rules to win prizes for HivePUD? </h2>

The requirements are:
<ul>
 	<li>Your reputation must be above 39 and below 70.</li>
 	<li>Your total Hive Power (before the 1st) must be more than 100 and less than 8000.</li>
 	<li> You must power up at least 10 Hive on June 1st.</li>
 	<li>You must write a post about your power up on June 1st with the tag #HivePUD (International) or #HPUD (Hispanic) as one of your first 5 tags (tagging only in the body of the post doesn't count)..</li>
</ul>

To be included in the winners list, **you must meet all four requirements above**. The order of the list (first place, second place, and so on) will be determined by the biggest PERCENTAGE of Hive powered up, not necessarily the most Hive powered up.

<h2>How to get HiveBuzz badges</h2>
