Ropes and elephants.
There was a visitor passing through an area and observing the strange and puzzling spectacle, he stopped to observe, before him a large elephant being tied up with a rope fragile in the legs, not thick chains, or dull cobblestones, is simply a thin wire. Of course it is easy to tear the rope and go free, but there is certainly a reason that it does not.
So he approached the magistrate and asked why this animal just stood there without trying to escape.
"Easy to understand," the administrator replied. "When they were elephants and were smaller than they are now, we used their ropes to tie them up enough, which made them think they would never break the rope even though they were big. The elephant still thinks the rope is strong enough to tie them up so they never try to escape. "
The visitor was surprised. It turns out that these elephants easily break the rope at any time, but because they think it is impossible to remain standing still.
Just like the elephant, how many of us waste so much in life simply because we think we can not do something because we tried and failed before.
Failure is the mother of success, it is important that we never stop trying.
