Death, is it an end or a beginning?
I remember back when I was a child and I would watch some films and see a bad guy do so many bad things, and at the end, the good guy would catch up with him and kill him. I always wondered, “is death really a punishment or an escape?” Because if the person does not even feel the pain and stay alive long enough to regret his actions, has that person really been punished?

What makes it even more interesting is that death is an inevitability; everyone dies at some point, so killing the person is just the same as hastening his exit from the world. I don’t believe in life after death, I believe once you die, your era has simply come to an end, which is why I don’t believe death is a repercussion or a punishment. I believe the only people who really suffer due to a death are the person’s loved ones who are left alive. There is a saying, “Suicide does not eliminate the suffering, it only shifts it to someone else.” This quote completely buttresses my opinion and belief on death. The best thing we can do is to live our lives in such a way that we will be remembered well when we eventually die. Do your best to leave a good legacy and make an impact wherever you find yourself.
