Recently I participated in a month long fitness challenge at work that my team won (why of course we did!) thanks to remarkable efforts of every member. It's been a fun experience to see office drones transform into fitness crazed maniacs for a month, just like checking the stats and competing with the other departments and their (losing) teams. 

To do my part I stopped using any form of transport other than my best friend on two wheels, including the four hour ride to a friend's house this picture was taken at. Under normal circumstances and for any sane person the half-hour train ride would have been the smarter and more preferable choice, but then that would be boring, wouldn't it? 

Instead I embarked on an epic journey crossing the River Elbe twice, through a tunnel to get to the northern side

(Of course I took the stairs with my bike over my shoulder, a smashing victory like ours shall not be achieved without pain!)

From there I caught the ferry which took me back to the South Side (represent!) where I had to fight torturous winds, remorseless cobblestone roads, fast cars and slooooooooooooow cyclists on one-lane country cycling paths. 

But lo, ultimately I prevailed! With slain dragons in my wake I cracked open a cold one I had acquired minutes earlier and used the ruins of my enemies' former houses for a quick break&take(a snapshot) and now a steemit post to further humiliate those who made the futile attempt to fight Green Demon, Cutter of Crosswinds and his team!
