*Hi everyone,
It's always a privilege to get time to sit and write something, no matter what comes, we get inspired to write more even with our daily happenings*. 


So going into my topic for today " ***ARE WE BETTER THAN THE OLDEN DAYS?***"
I know many of us might have at one point in our life asked this question, here are my thoughts and feelings about this, though I have seen some people post about how they prefer this generation to the olden days, why? Because we have the technology, yes technology is a great thing that we have in this day and time, our forefathers were not opportune to know this, but we this generation, have had the opportunity to meet these inventions in our lifetime.

My question is, in the olden days, how was communication sent? Also how long does it take to prepare a particular meal from the firewood? , I have more questions and answers to this but I will stop here, let's answer this one.

**COMMUNICATION**

Though in the olden day communication might have been difficult to pass across, still they found ways to still pass whatever they wanted to say and still get a reply, I remember my mum telling me about a time she was working in Lagos and was sending money to her mum and son in the village through a member of the village who always traveled to and fro the village and city, and these went in for years without any issue of robbery or incomplete money.
If it were to be now, even with the way banks have made it easy for people to send money, you will still see people who will have one excuse or the other about not seeing the money, whereas they have seen it, but are looking for mums (fool) to pay extra, to me the olden days were better than us in delivery right information and transactions, even though it might take a while, they still have that knowledge that, yes, I am sent someone to my people, within few days, my people will get money to care to take of themselves, but here in the present even the pos you go to has to be one that you know that, he wouldn't give you any excuses. That's my own opinion

**COOKING MEALS**

I have always said something to my friends, that in the olden days had better access to good food, fresh fish,  fresh veggies, fresh meats, etc, they had all this, while we now get sometimes processed food, I remember how I visited the village some years back and I am whatsoever I wanted and they all came out fresh at the end of the cooking and eating I had a jolly stomach, forget technology, even though the food cooking process was long, still the end product was satisfying.

Like I said everyone has his or her own opinion on this, for me, I will always go with the olden days mainly because of this food aspect, we are suffering now, then were much easier to achieve, now even with the so-called modernization, many people are still suffering or trying to survive their life one way or the other. 

As I said every one to his own opinion.
