So, before I get into this, I feel a **Disclaimer** is needed here mates.

Now with that said, lets get to it shall we?

Most crackers (password hackers, not the racial slur) are probably used to using Kali Linux programs such as **"John The Ripper,"** **"Metasploit,"** or **"Hydra."** And in all fairness, if you are going for a ***[Brute Force](https://www.lifewire.com/brute-force-dictionary-hacking-4061418)*** hack, than you will definitely want to go this route.

But for some crackers (including myself), Brute Force has some drawbacks. Specifically this: 

If the computer you are using doesn't have a sufficient cooling system, Brute Force will literally **BURN OUT YOUR CPU!**

What makes **FLUXION** different is that it's a program designed to capitalize on "human error," so you wont have to worry about you CPU at all. 

It's an amalgam of 8 other cracking programs, and though you could use Brute Force if you wanted to, what it does instead is allow you to rely on the end user literally giving you their password. 

This shouldn't be confused with a ***[Social Engineering Hack](https://www.tripwire.com/state-of-security/security-awareness/5-social-engineering-attacks-to-watch-out-for/)***. Although it does use some aspects of it. 

More specifically, it's a social engineering framework using an evil twin access point (AP), integrated jamming, and handshake capture functions to ignore hardware and focus on the "wetware." Tools such as **[Wifiphisher](https://wifiphisher.org/)** execute similar attacks, but lack the ability to verify the WPA passwords supplied.

Also, as anyone who's in the "cracking business"  knows, the  Windows OS is not ideal for hacking... of any kind! I would recommend downloading Kali Linux or any other Linux distro that is built for Pen Testing.
