It's been a long time since I watched such a good movie. I gave this title a solid 10 out of 10 rating, which is something I rarely do... but wow, this one certainly deserves a high note. 🤗 The American Movie industry has become so dull lately, with unoriginal plots and bad story telling, that it's a real beauty when a movie like this comes along. The whole plot revolves about a strange death of an old man and his death is initially ruled out as a suicide. But a mysterious detective appears at the scene, no one appears to know who hired him... and he quickly suspects that there is a lot more to the story than any of the family members is letting out. Soon enough it becomes obvious that everyone is lying or omitting something important. 🤔 There's a young girl who isn't part of the family who used to take care of the old man and she becomes the center of the story, as well as the attention of everyone in the family and of the detective, too... I can't tell you much more without spoiling the movie so I'll just say that there are some twists and turns that make it fascinating from beginning to end. The ending was surprisingly good and I wasn't expecting it at all. <center></center> <center>**Knives Out (2019), by Rian Johnson**: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8946378</center> The actors are very good and play their part to perfection. The story line is really solid, leaving no loose ends. In the end, it all fits perfectly and you understand the whole picture truly well. If you enjoy a good mystery movie with some touches of comedy... then this movie is right up your alley. I bet it's going to be a while until I rate another movie with a perfect ten. Pearls like this are quite rare these days. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. --- <center></center>
